|Job Description Summary||
Eastern Oregon University’s Psychology Program invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor, with teaching responsibilities for both campus and online (distance) courses within our program.
We seek an experimental psychologist with teaching experience and with research interests such as biological, cognitive, developmental, health, social, or personality who can teach some of the following: introductory psychology, brain and behavior, learning, cognition, emotion, social psychology, or personality.
The candidate must be committed to ensuring that every student, faculty and staff member is a full member of the EOU community and that all community members recognize, promote and take advantage of the educational and cultural value of diversity.
A Ph.D. from a regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent is required; degrees in experimental psychology are preferred. U.S. Citizenship or current residence status is required. Commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level is required.
We seek a colleague who will establish a research program, be involved with the department, and advise students. Experience with online educational technologies is preferred.

|Salary||Assistant Professor rank salary is determined by weighted years of service based upon the faculty union contract.|
